Each year, in addition to revenue from memberships, grants, and our investments, we rely on your generosity to create the best platform for architectural history research.

For fiscal year 2025 that ends on September 30, av福利社 needs to raise $52,500 to meet its financial needs. If every current av福利社 member gave $25 gift, we would meet this goal in a matter of hours.

If the knowledge you gain through av福利社 is valuable, if having a strong community of professionals and a strong organization to advocate for history is valuable to you, we ask you to show your support with a $25 gift to the annual fund before the end of June. Use a credit card or bank information in the giving module on this page, or send a check payable to av福利社 to 1365 N Astor St, Chicago, IL 60610. Please write "25 for 25" in the memo line so we can credit your gift accordingly.

Expanded Opportunities for Scholarship

An extra half-day of paper sessions was added to the 2025 annual conference in response to members’ requests for more opportunities to share their research. av福利社 also made its virtual conference a permanent part of its

annual programming.

From Jav福利社 to open-source Archipedia, and from travel blogs to the av福利社ARA image repository, all the Society's publications are underwritten by support from av福利社 members. These resources promote the study, interpretation, and conservation of architecture, design, landscapes, and urbanism worldwide for the benefit of all.

Support for Graduate Students and Emerging Scholars

Support programming that foster critical thinking and professional skills for next generation of scholars, including Graduate Student Lightning Talks, Book Group, and Method Acts.
