DESCRIPTION:The Southeastern Chapter of the Society of Architectural Histor
 ians seeks nominations for its Publication Awards. These honor outstanding
  scholarship on the architecture of the South\, or by authors who reside i
 n the South (defined as SEav¸£ÀûÉç member states: Alabama\, Arkansas\, Florida\
 , Georgia\, Kentucky\, Louisiana\, Mississippi\, North Carolina\, South Ca
 rolina\, Tennessee\, Texas\, and Virginia) at the time of publication. Fiv
 e categories of publication are recognized:&nbsp\; &nbsp\; Best Book&nbsp\
 ; &nbsp\; Best Journal Article (must meet regional criteria)&nbsp\; &nbsp\
 ; Best article in Arris\, the SEav¸£ÀûÉç journal&nbsp\; &nbsp\; Best Essay in a
 n Edited Volume&nbsp\; &nbsp\; Best Guidebook for Architecture in the Sout
 heastCriteria for consideration include the publication&rsquo\;s contribut
 ion to scholarship\, as measured by the potential impact on the field thro
 ugh the author(s) methodological approach and analysis\; breadth of resear
 ch and resources\; and quality of production\, particularly in the illustr
 ations and photographs selected. All entries should be well-written\, and 
 each should be an original and thorough piece of scholarship. The copyrigh
 t for entries should be no earlier than 2022.The deadline for nominations 
 is April 25\, 2025.​ Winners will be contacted via email and then official
 ly recognized at the 2025 SEav¸£ÀûÉç Conference in Asheville\, North Carolina\,
  from September 23&ndash\;26.Nominations should be submitted via an email 
 message with full bibliographic information of the publication. If the nom
 ination is for an article or an essay\, a PDF version should be attached\;
  if the nomination is a book\, please include publisher contact informatio
 n. The chair of the Publication Awards Committee will arrange delivery of
